Supply Cost Increases in the Bedding Industry.

I’m sure most of you are aware of the price increases of things we use/need and purchase everyday. Its obvious with things like gas and food but most people are unaware that it has affected most everything around us. The mattress and furniture industry is no different. There is currently a foam shortage across the country and foam is one of the core essentials in mattresses and furniture. Wood is the main component of furniture and most mattress foundations and wood costs have doubled in the past few months. Not only are we dealing with cost increases of goods but there is also a supply chain issue causing big problems. Workers are not showing up to work and this is causing delays in how we ship and receive our products. Most retailers have had no choice but to increase their prices. We at Charleston Bedding have absorbed most of these increases and kept our prices low on most of our inventory. However, some prices may have increased to offset our costs. We are hopeful that this will only be temporary and everything in our great nation will get back to normal soon. That being said, we still offer the best value on quality mattresses in the Charleston area and will not be beat!
